Both of them will share the same hardware specifications as the non-PRO models, although you will get superior software and customer service with these new releases. Some of the differences include :-

- Premium ruggedized sleeve for added durability and protection
- One free map update to be used within 12 months of first use
- Dedicated PRO customer service telephone line
- PIN lock to protect sensitive information
The PRO 8000 edges out on the PRO 4000 by featuring IQ Routes, Advanced Lane Guidance, Voice Address Input and Bluetooth handsfree calling. You can pick up the TomTom PRO 4000 and TomTom PRO 8000 for $330 and $460, respectively.
