Windows XP ULPC Licenses Offered

Microsoft has started to offer Windows XP ULPC licenses despite the fact that this operating system is in the process of being retired by the big M. The requirements to qualify are pretty stringent – it will need a slow processor, a relatively small hard drive, and cannot have more than 1GB of RAM (not too sure if upgrading to 2GB in the future will violate the Terms & Conditions or not. This is meant to allow the fast growing netbook market to use Windows XP instead of Linux, and the price has dropped to an affordable $32 at most. Damn, and to think we used to pay $99 for a piece of paper from Microsoft in the past…
