
Microsoft has laid down the rules – those who want to develop Xbox Live applications for the iPhone must give it away for FREE. Hopefully this doesn’t mean folks who “purchase” Xbox Live applications will end up with shovelware that have limited functionality. It still remains within the realm of possibility that this could lead to the announcement of an official Live Anywhere iPhone application and a brand new Zune, of course. Guess we’ll just have to be patient and see how everything works out in due time.
