The Xplore Technologies iX104C4 tablet PC could be just the device for you, coming in a rugged form factor comprising of a triple-layer magnesium housing with customized gaskets and a patented bumper system. It is capable of shrugging off four-foot drops to concrete from any angle, and conforms to a range of MIL-STD 810F standards, making it viration-, dust-, and damp-proof. Not only that, it will outlast you outside, working just fine in temperatures ranging from -20 to 60 deg. C. Specifications of the iX104C4 Tablet PC include :-

  • Intel Core Duo U2500 1.3GHz processor

  • 10.4″ touch screen display at 1,024 x 768 resolution

You can choose between Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition to power the iX104C4. There is no word on pricing or availability though.
