Yamaha’s upcoming Blu-ray player, the BD2900 has leaked out despite it being slated for a November release. Guess it gets harder and harder to keep a secret these days, eh? Features of the BD2900 include :-
- 1080p/24fps-compatible HDMI
- 12-bit Deep Color
- BONUSVIEW
Would you fork out $1,199 for this? I think it would still be best to pick up a Sony PS3 as that is one Blu-ray player that gets the latest firmware updates most of the time. Oh yeah, and the fact that it also plays games is a huge bonus, never mind the relative lack of quality software compared to its other rivals.
