Amazon is now offering customers the chance to watch ad-free movies and TV shows on various platforms such as Macs and PCs with Amazon Video On Demand. This was an untenable solution before, since customers could only download such titles and view them over a PC via the Amazon Unbox application or over the TiVo box, but all of that’s changed for the better now. Customers will be able to view movies instantly through their web browser, but there is also another option to download using the Unbox application, with the show ready to be viewed anytime. Folks can also rent or purchase Amazon Video On Demand movies and TV shows directly on Sony’s BRAVIA Internet Video Link device on compatible BRAVIA TV sets, although it is currently in beta form factor.
