Advent Eco Computer Goes Green (Duh)

For folks who tend to spend plenty of time behind the computer screen, it would be wise to invest in a green PC so to speak, after all, it will help reduce your monthly power bill while reducing the strain on mother nature. The Advent Eco is a green computer that runs on just 25 watts, featuring a fan-less cooling system while being made out of recycled materials – at least three quarters of the machine fall under the green category. Don’t expect to play Crysis on this though, since it offers just enough juice to run casual computing tasks like email, surfing and word processing. Specifications include :-

  • Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 160GB hard drive
  • Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Windows Vista Premium

The Advent Eco PC will retail for £599, and depending on the configuration, the price can only go north from there.
