Asus has a brand new videophone for folks who want a cheap video call solution or are in a long distance relationship – the AiGuru SV1. The SV1 is an upgrade over its predecessor, the S1, and the most notable addition would be the inclusion of video call support, letting you chat with alll and sundry without the need for a computer. Yes, boys and girls, with the AiGuru SV1, you can hold video conversations over Skype directly thanks to its 7″ LCD display at 800 x 480 resolution, a VGA quality webcam and Wi-Fi/Ethernet connectivity. Should you suffer from a brownout during your conversation, fret not. The AiGuru SV1 has a built-in battery that can keep it running for up to 20 more minutes without external power. It will retail for $300 and ships this October in Europe and North America.
