
Asus will be rolling out a gold version of its Eee PC 900A netbook – I suppose everything else underneath the hood remains the same as a regular Eee PC 900, other than the fact that its exterior has been painted in a layer of gold, not the real stuff to, mind you. This means you can’t pawn this off during times of dire need in the future, but even if you could, the obsolesence of the device will offset any capital gain made by rising prices in gold.
