BBNav For The Disabled

GPS systems are fine and dandy, but as usual the disabled are left out of the picture – until now. Navevo from the UK has announced the BBNav, a Blue Badge GPS navigation system that was specially designed to help out disabled drivers as well as caregivers of the disabled. The selling point of BBNav is the POI database that holds a bunch of suitable parking locations as well as other helpful locations for Blue Badge holders. Other features include :-

  • Blue Badge and Red Route on-street parking bays
  • Disabled-accessible car parks
  • Local council Blue Badge parking concessions
  • Over 60,000 Points of Interest (20,000+ Blue Badge)
  • NAVTEQ street level mapping covering UK and Republic of Ireland
  • 7 digit postcode routing
  • Safety Camera Alerts

You will be able to find maps of the UK and Republic of Ireland with BBNav, complete with a half-year free trial of safety camera alerts. Interested parties can pick up the BBNav this October for £200.
