Canon Announces PowerShot G10

Canon has a new flagship PowerShot model – the G10 that will take over from where the G9 left off. Just take a look at the features and specifications below and do leave a comment on how you think this digital camera shapes up against rivals in its class. I’ve long ascertained that the megapixel race is over, but that doesn’t mean improvements in other aspects cannot be made.

• DIGIC 4 for clear, sharp images, high-speed AF (including Servo AF) and fast response times

• Face Select & Track and FaceSelf-Timer

No idea on how much Canon will price the G10, but it should be somewhere in the same region as the G9 when it was first introduced.
