16:9 display are all the race in the PC industry and the Dell S2409W seems like a good 1080p monitor. Its design is simple and you can see that the “image” should be the main point of focus. From a technical perspective, it has HDMI, DVI and VGA connections. It is possible to attach a pair of speakers as well, although I would probably recommend something fancier, if you really want to exploit’s the surround sound from Blu-Ray movies. ($349 at Dell.com)
