Sony Ericsson is exploring the possibility of a future without Windows Mobile where its line of Xperia handsets are concerned, at least that’s what Magnus Andersson, product manager for the X1, noted. He stressed that “the brand is not tied into any specific technical platform.” It would be interesting to see where Sony Ericsson will place their loyalty though – not that their user interface is great or anything like that to begin with, but could we actually be looking at a shift to Android?
