Gigabyte Has New GSmart Handsets

Gigabyte has rolled out two new handsets from the GSmart range – the MW702 and MS802. Both PDA phones will be available in Hungary, sharing the same specifications although the former maxes out at EDGE while the latter supports HSDPA connectivity. Other than that, the specifications are as follows :-

  • Marvell PXA270 520MHz processor
  • Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system
  • 2.8″ 65k color TFT LCD at 240 x 320 resolution
  • 256MB ROM
  • 128MB RAM
  • GPS navigation
  • 3 megapixel camera with autofocus
  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
  • Mini USB 2.0 port
  • microSD memory card slot

No idea on how much these puppies will cost, but it looks like a pretty sweet handset. The user interface also looks customized compared to the standard Windows Mobile 6.1 interface.
