What do you have on your USB flash drive? Seasoned veterans might still use U3-capable flash drives as it’s pretty handy in letting you carry all your regularly used applications no matter which computer you’re using. With the recent release of Google Chrome, Carsten Knobloch of Germany has already beaten the masses to the punch with his portable Chrome browser that can function just fine directly off a USB flash drive. All you need to do is unzip the bunch of files and you’re ready to start Chroming the Internet. The entire portable Chrome experience requires 11MB of storage space, and it does not skimp on features either as it is also capable of isolating other essentials such as Web history, cookies and caches. So far it has been tested on Windows Vista SP1 and XP SP3 with no known problems.
