Hewlett Packard remains top dog where being the leading supplier of notebooks in the world is concerned, completing its two-year run in the same position. As for the previous leader Dell, it remains as the first loser in second place. As for third place, we have Acer holding 14.4% share of notebook shipments in this quarter. Interestingly enough, the greatest growth recorded was in the 13.3″ to 16″ panel segment, increasing by a whopping 88.5%, while the 17″ market segment has shrunk. If you’re thinking of picking up a notebook, which would be the market segment that you want to help grow?
