Lenovo Stops Linux Notebook Sales Online

Lenovo won’t be taking in any more orders for its Linux-powered machines online, although you can still get these models from Lenovo’s own or partner direct sales team. According to a spokesman for Lenovo, this withdrawal does not mean that the company’s commitment to Linux has changed, but as we all know, action speaks much louder than words. In this case, not having Linux-powered notebooks on sale online any more certainly reeks of a lack of support. Seriously, how much does it cost to place another few items online for sale? Surely the poor online sales figures can’t be the only reason for this move?
