Don’t go around boasting about your media center until you’ve seen what the Lifeware LMS 810 has on offer – eight CableCARD tuners (a couple of those on-board while the remaining half dozen reside in the external Lifetuner box), a dual Intel Quad Core setup, a 12TB RAID 5 box which is able to stream out to ten Media Extenders – be those Xbox 360s (which have gotten cheaper recently) or other compatible devices. In addition, the Lifeware LMS 810 is able to record from all eight HD streams simultaneously despite streaming to all 10 Extenders at once. No idea on the pricing, but there was a similar offering from Lifeware last year that saw half the amount of CableCARDs, retailing for a whopping $15,000.
