Toshiba and Acer seem to have been the primary victims of Apple’s success, as both companies saw their share go down year over year. It’s not really surprising, just walk in to a random internet cafe and look at the number of Mac computer on the table. Just last week, a friend of mine was shopping for a business computer and the question was: should I spend 40% more to get a Mac so that my clients think that I’m “in”? Well that tells it all does it? In addition of the sheer coolness of the product, add social pressure and guess what: I’m pretty sure that this trend is going to continue for the next 12-months - at least.
