Medion Akoya Review Spotted: It’s yummy!

Our friends from UMPC portal have spent 10 weeks with the Medion Akoya, which shares the same hardware platform as the MSI Wind nettop. Overall, they think that this is a great computer that should fulfill basic tasks such as web browsing, email and other productivity apps perfectly. Videos are reportedly fast and even 720p HD videos should play smoothly, which is not the case of all mini-portables. At 2.5 hours of surfing time, this might or might not be sufficient for your particular needs, but we think that adding a bigger battery would ruin the silhouette, but that’s always a possibility.
