Looks like Meizu’s M8 touch screen cell phone will finally make it out this December, but unfortunately for the rest of the world, it is available only in China-area buyers, targeting an Indian release later on. You can only choose from one capacity – 8GB, and that alone will retail anywhere between $384 and $469, without word on whether this involves a contract or not. Pretty steep price range if you ask me, but I believe at those price points, it will be sold as a standalone, unlocked handset. How else is it going to compete with the iPhone anyways? Features of the M8 include :-
- 3.2″ touch screen display
- 3 megapixel camera
- Integrated FM radio
- EDGE connectivity
- Windows CE operating system
It doesn’t look as though the Meizu M8 will make it to North America officially due to copyright issues.
