Microsoft SideWinder X8 Gaming Mouse

Microsoft’s latest gaming mouse, the SideWinder X8 comes with BlueTrack technology. It won’t be available to the masses until February next year, so hopefully the following specifications will be able to hold up until then.

• Scalable DPI settings (250 to 4,000)
• Macro record button
• Programmable buttons
• Wired and wireless usage modes
• USB rechargeable

I like the fact that this comes with a built-in charging mechanism, since toting around AA batteries can weigh you down at times. The SideWinder X8 will retail for $100 a pop when it is finally available – no idea if this will threaten Razer’s position or not though.
