The Mono speaker concept might sound (pun not intended) rather outdated, but in reality, it offers a closer professional home surround sound thanks to its ability to emit audio in diametrical directions for superior surround sound performance. The special design of this mid-range speaker is meant to do away with unwanted reflections and interferences. No idea if Simon Denzel’s idea will catch on or not, but it is certainly worth a thought and goes against conventional thinking on how speakers ought to look like.
