Check out this MSI Wind that runs on neither Windows XP nor Linux – instead, it has Apple’s OS X as the operating system of choice. The Wind has gotten a 1GB memory upgrade to help cope with the new operating system, and in order to get the Wi-Fi up and running, a Dell alternative needs to be purchased. Currently, wireless connectivity, sound and sleep functions work just fine but the integrated webcam might as well not be there. The fan also seems to work more compared to when XP was running, while the 1,025 x 600 resolution display does not seem to be as sharp as before. I wonder how hard the 1.6GHz Atom processor has to work to keep OS X running on the Wind.
