At long last, a SSD that retails for less than a Benjamin? This is now reality thanks to OCZ Core and their 32GB SATA II SSD which retails for a buck short of $100, breaking this previously unpenetrable barrier. Performance-wise, this isn’t the fastest beast on the planet with write and read speeds of 83MB/s and 120MB/s, respectively. I wonder what will people snap these up for primarily – to give their netbooks a boost in storage?
