The Pappa*phone is one handset that merges both the old and the new, thanks to the folks at Furni. This VoIP handset is cut from American walnut and brass, working just fine with various instant messaging programs such as Skype, iChat and others. It will work on both Windows and OS X platforms, but unfortunately it doesn’t make the leap to the wireless world as it remains tethered by a 1.5 meter long cable. How much are you willing to pay for this bad boy?
