Raon Digital Recalls Everun Note Netbook

Raon Digital executives must be sweating it out right now as the company has just issued a recall of its recently launched Everun Note netbook due to a fistful of failure symptoms. The original Korean notice mentioned that this Turion-based device ought to be returned to the manufacturer if it experiences any of the following (woe to you if your unit has more than one…) :-

  • High-pitched fan noise
  • Bblue screen phenomenon
  • CPU overheating
  • Inaccurately displayed battery levels
  • Error related to the preinstalled e-dictionary
  • Failed PDA authentication

Hopefully the replacements won’t cause similar hiccups just like how certain Xbox 360s retain their RRoD sequence even after being sent back to Microsoft.
