Samsung has a new handset planned for this October – the Samsung Rant. This will be an entry level handset, retailing for $49.99 as long as you tie down your soul with Sprint for two years along with a $50 mail-in rebate. The Samsung Rant is a slider cell phone, featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, easy access to Sprint Navigation, Sprint Music Store and Sprint TV, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capability, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a memory card slot and speaker-independent voice recognition. You can choose from red or black colors, but folks who pick theirs up from Best Buy can get an exclusive purple color option.
