SanDisk announced its new microSD memory card known as the SlotMusic. Each card has a minimum storage space of 1GB, and is able to playback tunes at up to 320kbps quality. All cards will come pre-loaded with DRM-free content courtesy of global artists, and with a publisher list of EMI Music, Sony BMG, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group, you can be sure you won’t be getting some two-bit newbie belting out an unheard of tune. At press time, there is no word on which album will be featured, nor pricing structure. More to come in due time, so watch this space.
