SimpleTech has announced a couple more products for the masses – the Pro Drive and Duo Pro Drive external storage media. Both models will feature a quartet of built-in interfaces (eSATA, FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0), allowing you to transfer data at speeds of up to 3Gbps under eSATA. In addition, you will get Fabrik’s backup software with each purchase, accompanied by 2GB of free online storage. Just like Tupperware, these drives were specially designed to be stackable although they are not meant to be stored in the freezer with last night’s dinner. The Duo Pro Drive will come in 1.5TB and 2TB models, retailing for $420 and $550, respectively, while the Pro Drive comes in 500GB ($160) and 1TB ($260) capacities.
