Sony Could Work On Netbooks

It seems that Sony has cast an envious glance at the current hot commodity – netbooks, and might want to grab a slice of the (slim) pie for themselves as well. It would be interesting to see the types of Sony netbooks delivered – will they be able to offer the same level of aesthetics at such a low price, or will these Sony netbooks actually cost far more than budget notebooks of other brands? Only time will tell, but apparently a Sony executive mentioned that “we are letting the pioneers in the market make the mistakes. Sony has to participate because consumers are our core competency. We have to participate.” Don’t hold your breath though as these won’t hit the retail floor this year.
