Sony Ericsson’s G705 slider handset is now official, featuring the following specifications :-

GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900

Tri-band 3G in the US version – UMTS/HSUPA 850/1900/2100

2.4″ display

HTML browser

Automatic screen-orientation rotation

Built-in aGPS combined with Google Maps for Mobile and Wayfinder

Wi-Fi and DLNA certified, Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP)

3.2 megapixel camera with Photo fix and geotagging support

YouTube compatible – upload video directly to YouTube

The G705 will hit the US sometime in Q1 next year, although those residing in other territories will be able to get their hands on this puppy a quarter earlier. Interesting, but definitely nothing new nor groundbreaking.
