Sony Reveals Pricing For SXRD Projectors

Sony’s two SXRD projectors, the VPL-VW80 and VPL-HW10 has just been given their release dates and pricing. The former will roll out on November 20 while the latter is available a month earlier. Features found on the VPL-HW10 include :-

• 1,920 x 1,080 resolution
• 30,000:1 contrast ratio
• 1,000 lumens brightness
• BRAVIA Engine 2
• Two HDMI inputs
• Triple panel SXRD
• 2ms response time

As for the VPL-VW80, this model will come with 100Hz Motionflow Dark Frame Insertion Tech, BRAVIA Engine 2, 60,000:1 contrast ratio, 800 lumens brightness, a response time of 2.5ms and two HDMI inputs. This model will retail for €5,000.
