Not many people indulge in stargazing these days since there is just so much more distraction available, not to mention many of us already live in choked up cities that have smog which blot out the stars each night. If you still find this activity fun, the Stellarwindow software is accompanied by a USB dongle which when plugged in, will automatically find out where your current location is while pointing to various segments of the sky where you are. The software’s voice recognition capability also allows you to speak of a desired celestial body and it verbally point you to the precise location of your request. The StellarWindow software is tipped to be released sometime this year for about $244.
