Forget about all rumors – what you see here is the real deal, the bona fide T-Mobile G1 Android smartphone. Guess we won’t have to take trip in the time machine to tomorrow’s press conference to snag details of its specifications such as :-
- 480 x 320 resolution HVGA display
- 3G connectivity
- GPS support
- 3.1 megapixel camera
- Max. 8GB memory
- 5 hours talktime
- 130 hours standby time
Strangely enough, this handset doesn’t come with Stereo Bluetooth connectivity, which is a serious oversight IMHO. Not to mention the fact that you’ll need a Gmail account. The G1 will be sold at stores within a 5 mile radius of T-Mobile’s 3G coverage areas, which possibly points toward a pretty muted device outside of 3G service areas.
