Remote controlled helicopters aren’t out of fashion just yet, and Taiyo’s model has the smarts to know not to hit the ceiling, thanks to a proximity sensor that prevents it from doing so. This offering from Taiyo will retail for $92 when it arrives in Japan, but somehow the video looks as though there is a wire hanging down which makes it a wee bit suspicious. Still, I don’t think a company like Taiyo would go to that extent to fleece its customers who will most probably be repeat customers if everything works as planned.
