Toshiba goes mobile with their TLP-X100U projector, boasting closed captioning functionality and 3LCD technology that comes in a new slim design. Meant for use in education, professional or noisy settings, the TLP-X100U Slim Mobile Projector will come with a blackboard function, enabling the projector to correct the colors of the image automatically to compensate for a blue, black, brown or green background. I’d take this with a grain of salt though, since you can’t get perfect color reproduction once the background’s color anything other than white. Other features include Quick Power Shutdown, Digital Zoom and Automatic Vertical Keystone Correction. The Toshiba TLP-X100U Slim Mobile Projector will retail for $839.
