Velocity has unveiled its 83 smartphone at CTIA, and this Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional-powered handset will feature the following :-
- Integrated GPS receiver
- microSD memory card slots (yes, two of them!)
- 2.8″ touch screen display
- Odyssey user interface
- 2 megapixel camera
- Wi-Fi connectivity
- Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz)
The Velocity 83 ought to make its way to the masses this November for around $500. Why two memory card slots, you ask? Well, one of them is meant for storage while the other is used to hold maps meant for GPS navigation.
