How many of you actually own a visual headset to connect to your iPod or portable media player? The idea is pretty cool though – you get to enjoy a large screen experience without the other visual distractions around, but the main drawback would be unable to notice anything else that happens around you. Vuzix is back with the iWear AV310 Widescreen that boasts to be the first 16:9 widescreen version available in the market right now. Compatible with both NTSC and PAL standards, you will also get video input and a virtual 52″ display (viewed from 9 feet) while wearing this. The Vuzix iWear AV310 Widescreen will set you back by around $250.
