
If you think that the Windows Mobile 6.1 experience is getting a little bit stale, bad news for you then. Microsoft has told its partners that Windows Mobile 7 is being delayed, and there is no word on a final release although the earliest it could roll out woul be sometime in the second half of 2009. This delay could potentially slow down the sales of Windows Mobile 6.1-powered devices as consumers flock towards the iPhone or Android-powered handsets or BlackBerries, but then again it is good for the industry overall as may the best man win – in this case, operating system.
