Xbox 360 Price Cut Official

Don’t pick up an Xbox 360 tomorrow – not if you really can’t wait for whatever game you’re interested in. After all, the Xbox 360 will experience a price drop on September 5th, where the Xbox 360 Arcade, Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Elite will retail for $199, $299 and $399, respectively. An Xbox 360 that’s cheaper than the Wii? It will be interested to see how Nintendo reacts to this new pricing structure – will they yield for the upcoming holiday season by dropping the Wii’s price, or is the Xbox 360 Arcade just not worth the price no matter how low it gets? No idea if these new systems will be running on Jasper or Falcon motherboards.
