Alltel Announces LG Rhythm

Alltel will be offering the LG Rhythm slider handset to add yet another music-centric phone to shopping lists in the US. Features of the LG Rhythm include :-

• 1″ circular touchscreen with interactive UI
• 1.3 megapixel camera
• Video recording capability
• Integrated music player
• FM transmitter
• Bluetooth connectivity
• SMS threads support

This is a simple music phone that aims to be a secondary MP3 player, although it won’t supplant your iPod anytime soon. The LG Rhythm will come in black or white colors, retailing for $119.99 after you sign up for a 2-year agreement with a $50 mail-in rebate.
