Apple Wants To Throw In RF Communications

One of Apple’s strongest traits is producing devices that work seamlessly together whenever you’re at home, but what happens when you’re outside on the prowl? Word on the street has it that Apple is currently working on a patent application – “Personal area network systems and devices and methods for use thereof ”, where you will enter a future filled with affordable, small and efficient RF modules located all around, helping devices remain connected to one another using Bluetooth, UWB and Wi-Fi technologies among others. In addition, even long range wireless networks like GSM, CDMA and WiMAX will be utilized. Does this mean future iPods and MacBooks will have full time connectivity everywhere?
