Apple Working On Own Networked TVs

One of the reasons why Apple TV missed out on a hardware refresh could be due to Apple’s engineers who are hard at work on their own networked TV, including the innards of the Apple TV within. It is highly possible that Apple is using technology from its range of LCD monitors and merging it with Apple TV to come up with a networked TV that will sit pretty in your living room, hoping to take over all entertainment aspects from there on. After all, it makes sense as Apple’s iTunes Store will experience a sales boom if this new range of TVs are released. Only time will tell whether Apple’s latest living room wonder is able to display (no pun intended) the fortitude to take on the combined might of Sony Bravia, Sharp Aquos, Pioneer Kuro and Panasonic Viera.
