While a flash memory card is way more durable to shocks and drops compared to hard drives, ATP has released industrial grade microSD and miniSD cards which feature the following :-
- Operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C
- Extended ratings on product lifetime and shock/vibration durability
- 128MB to 1GB capacities (microSD)
- 128MB to 4GB capacities (miniSD)
Word has it that a 2GB model is currently slated for a 2009 release. No idea on pricing though.
