Cowon is all set to release its O2 and S9 portable media players to the masses from next month onwards, with the former bearing a 4.3″ AMOLED display with DMB support while the latter is meant to go up against the iPod with its 3.3″ display. No pricing details are available for either device, but I for one am looking forward to the lovely AMOLED display on the O2 as well as its nine hours of non-stop video playback – could this be the Holy Grail of portable media players? Only time (and a review unit) will tell.
