Across the pond in the US, the PocketSurfer2 is known as the PC Edge sans the mentioned updates, albeit with a price point that’s reduced by $100. This means those residing in America will fork out $200 for the unit with a $24.99 monthly fee, while folks living in the UK will fork out £200 with 20 hours of free surfing each month for the entire year. Once the initial first year honeymoon is up, UK owners can choose between a £40 annual fee or a one-time £60 fee for the Immortality Plan that provides unlimited surfing for the device’s entire lifetime.
