
Epson has finally caved in to the pressure and entered the netbook market with its MiniNote model which will be powered by Windows XP, leaving no room for a Linux version. Some specifications of the MiniNote include :-
- Windows XP Home SP3
- Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor
- 10.2” WSVGA screen (1024 x 600 resolution)
- 945GSE Express Video Chipset
- 1GB SDRAM
- 160GB SATA hard drive
- Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity
You can pick up the Epson MiniNote in Japan sometime next month for a yet undisclosed price.
