Sharp’s new SH-01A clamshell handset has arrived at the FCC, and those folks sure are taking a second look at this uber basic handset from Japan. Looks like Japan’s average phone is way advanced compared to others around the world, and you’ll know why as I rattle off some of the more interesting specifications :-
- 28mm wide-angle lens
- 8 megapixel CCD sensor
- Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound
- microSD memory card slot
The Sharp SH-01A won’t be released in the US though, as chances are it is undergoing testing to make sure it can be used for roaming purposes on our shores.
