
Too many delays are not good for any consumer electronics product, as you will then have to be content with releasing an outdated device, or scrap it altogether. The same can be said for Garmin’s Nuvifone which saw its release date being pushed back from later this year all the way to the first half of next year. By then, more Android-based phones would have arrived on the market with a much more mature software collection in the Android Marketplace, while the iPhone will still be doing phenomenally well, opening in new markets globally. Let’s not even talk about HTC and its range of smartphones that are in pockets of many a businessperson already. Where does this place the Nuvifone then?
